Hey ya'll, my name is Wes, and I'm like a million other guys who love gospel music.  There's something about gospel music which reverberates with hope, joy, and yes, even the fun of being a Christian.  I know you probably love it as much as I do.  Frankly, I'm just a young guy who loves his family, loves God, loves people, and loves to sing.  They tell me when you get into music you will  have fans...that seems nuts to me and I can't get my brain around it!  I hope to always have friends--friends I can chat with and make great memories.  I'm looking so forward to meeting as many of you throughout the country as I can.  You may know by now that I have been invited to sing with the Gaither Vocal Band.  Bill, Guy, and Marshall have processed this decison with  overwhelming thoughtfulness and prayer.  It has been a grueling, yet confirming event for me.  Bill has a laser-like way of  auditioning, questioning, testing, feeling, but always lovingly considering what is best for the group.  When he called me and invited me to be the new tenor for the GVB, I knew he had thought it out carefully, but also felt he must have made a mistake and called the wrong person!  I've been on the road with the GVB since August, and it is more amazing than what I ever expected it would be.  I am incredibly honored to have the opportunity to minister night after night with such amazing people.    The purpose of this  site is to share with you from time to time what is going on in our lives.  It will be interesting to see where God is leading you and me.  Remember, God knows your exact zip code and nothing is by chance.   Sincerely,   wes    p.s.  Thanks, Karen...       For concert dates/tickets/ Gaither and Homecoming news, go to: https://tickets.ultrastar.com/ or www.gaithernet.com
